Bremco worked closely with the architect and Owner to transform a nondescript concrete tilt-up into an eye-catching architectural tour de force. Featuring a one of a kind steel superstructure, space frame roof system and extensive use of storefront glass, the showroom highlights BMW’s fleet of motorcycles. The refurbished service area at the rear of the property allows ample space for technicians to service the bikes on epoxy coated floors beneath 21 new skylights. Bremco also coordinated site improvements with Edison, Verizon and the City of Long Beach to improve sight lines to the building by removing a power pole, phone cross connect box and expanding the City Sidewalk. Working on a design build basis with the mechanical, electrical and plumbing contractors enabled the project to remain competitively priced while providing the Owner with a finished product as finely tuned as the contents of their showroom.
